Health Department Tips/Reminders
The following are requirements from the Davidson County Health Department we must observe - thanks for everyone’s cooperation to keep The Finch House in compliance.
All Staff must sign Employee Health Policy Agreement---copies kept in office in case Health Department ask for them
All staff preparing food must wear a hairnet or hat---- hairnets are on the wall were the gloves are
Proper use of gloves at all times
Keep hands washed/gloves changed when switching stations (ex. After serving wash hands and switch gloves) helps prevent cross contaminations
Eating and Smoking/Vaping in designated areas only….
Drinks in cups, with lids and straws, in designated area….we have cups/lids/straws in staff area if needed.
Employees wash their hands after sneezing, coughing, blowing nose, or using the restroom.
Employee items stored in Staff area away from food areas (keys, phones, purse, clothing)
Cuts or scratches covered with band-aids
Trash cans covered at all times
Keep Refrigerators and Freezers clean
Chemicals stored above the mop station
Paper Towels/soaps/toilet paper stored above sink, in back, beside mop station
No chemicals sitting near or around foods
Sanitizer bucket keep on bottom shelf when using
Keep everything sanitized and clean
Continue to work if Health Department comes in
