The Finch House is a beloved institution and traditional wedding venue in the Triad region of North Carolina. Hosts Rey and Scott are honored to be the caretakers of the Finch family legacy and to continue opening the historic mansion and property for celebrations of every kind with the same care, expertise, and charm clients have long come to expect.
Rey Noyola, Co-owner and Event Director - Rey's warmth is contagious — ask any couple who has worked with him, and they'll tell you his cheerful energy has a way of keeping everyone calm, happy, and completely at ease, even in the busiest moments of a wedding day. For 12 years, Rey has designed and coordinated weddings, quinceañeras, and celebrations of every kind as founder of a Seattle-based event decor and management company, personally overseeing catering, bar service, DJs, and florists so that couples never have to worry about the details. Originally from Mexico, Rey taught himself English after moving to the United States — a determination and grit that shows up in everything he does, including the genuine care he brings to making every couple's day unforgettable.
Scott Barker, Co-Owner - Scott has spent the last 12 years as business manager and wedding coordinator for that same Seattle-based event company, helping guide it to multiple Wedding Wire Couple's Choice Awards for outstanding service. He brings that same steady, detail-oriented approach to The Finch House, paired with a background in communications and marketing — so that from your first inquiry to your last dance, everything runs smoothly and feels exactly as special as it should.
